Fabric and why it matters

240 GSM French terry: a knitted fabric that is looped on the inside and smooth on the outside. GSM means grams per square metre, so 240 GSM is a comfortable mid-weight: soft and substantial, but not heavy like fleece. It does not go limp halfway through the day.

Undyed inner face: the stripe is printed on the outer face only. The looped side against your child is RFD cotton (ready for dyeing), which means it has been prepared but never dyed.

Under 5% shrinkage: the fabric is compacted before it is ever cut, pre-shrunk in our own factory and wash-tested, so frequent washing does not leave it baggy or shrunken.

No polyester, ever: only natural, skin-safe fibres that breathe in Indian weather.
