Fabric and why it matters
These pants are made from 100% cotton French terry at 240 GSM. Here is what that means for your child:
- French terry is a knitted cotton fabric with a smooth face on the outside and soft little loops on the inside. The loops sit against the skin, feel cushioned and soak up sweat, while the smooth outside looks neat.
- 240 GSM (grams per square metre) tells you the weight of the fabric. At 240 GSM these pants have real substance compared with thin leggings, yet they are not as heavy as fleece, so they work across most of the Indian year: cool mornings, air-conditioned classrooms, winter evenings and active playtime.
- 100% cotton breathes, so legs stay comfortable rather than clammy, and it is gentle on sensitive skin.
Fit and sizes
Available in sizes 1-2Y, 2-3Y, 3-4Y, 4-5Y, 5-6Y, 6-7Y and 7-8Y.
- Straight leg: a clean line from hip to hem, without a gathered ankle cuff.
- Gentle covered elastic waist with drawcord: no bare rubber against the tummy, and an adjustable fit for growing children.
