Fabric and why it matters

These pants are 100% pure cotton, with no polyester or synthetic blends. Cotton is a natural plant fibre, so air moves through it and it soaks up sweat instead of holding it against the skin. For a child running around in humid Indian weather, that means far less of the sticky, clammy feeling that makes little ones cranky by afternoon.

The cotton is long-staple, export-grade cotton sourced in Tamil Nadu. Longer fibres spin into a smoother, softer yarn, which is what you feel when you run your hand over the fabric. The pants are lightweight and breathable, so they work through peak summer and as year-round indoor wear under a fan or AC.

Are these pants too warm for an Indian summer?
